MARKET DAY

Time: 9.00am to 2.00pm
Since the February Earthquake interrupted our plans for a market in March, we have now rescheduled this event for Saturday the 26th of November 2011.
Already we have had a great response, and a number of our stall spaces have been snapped up. If you are interested in a stall, check out “Market Day” on the school’s website www.cotswold.school.nz
This is a major undertaking for the association and we will be requiring a number of parent helpers, not only on the day, but also with leaflet drops in the area.
In October we will have rosters set up for you to put your name down on if you can help on the day, but in the mean time if you are able to deliver leaflets to letter boxes please phone Heather on 359 6167 or Email heatherbak@gmail.com Thank you!

Entertainment Book Reminder
We are now wrapping up our 2011 Entertainment Book Fundraiser. All orders need to be in ASAP. There are order forms at the office if you have misplaced the one sent home with your child. All completed orders can be placed in the white lock box in the office foyer.
For those that paid a $10 deposit, the remaining $55 is now due. We will announce the winner of the free entertainment book in our next newsletter.
Delivery of the books will be sometime during the week starting Monday the 30th of May. We will send the book home with your child (so keep a look out in your child’s bag!).
Disco
The mid-year Junior only disco will run from 6pm until 7.30pm on Friday the 27th of May. This disco has no set theme, but children are most welcome to dress-up if they wish too.
Tickets will go on sale that morning at the canteen window from 8.30-9am (door ticket sales will also be available). The price remains at $3 per person. The “glowing” products, sold on the night, are $2 each.

Mufti-Day
We have a “Royal” mufti-day planned for Friday the 3rd of June, this is the Friday before the 3 day Queen’s Birthday Weekend. For a gold coin donation children can “dress-up” as their version of royalty.
Sausage Sizzle
This will be on Wednesday the 15th of June. Sausages are $1.50 each, purchased before school (8.30-9am) from the hall kitchen window.
If you can help with cooking please come at 10.30am or for handout at 12.30pm.
Next Meeting
This will be on Tuesday the 14th of June, from 7.30pm in the school staffroom, all most welcome to come along and see what we are all about, no pressure to join!
